Online Manuscript Submission Procedure

It is possible to apply for publication of an article in the Energy Law Forum Journal through the Journal website

Before submitting a manuscript, it is necessary to go through the registration procedure on the website. To do this, you need to click on the button "Registration" in the main menu of the Journal website and enter the author's personal information.

After registering on the main page of the site in the menu "Authors", you should click on the button "Submit Paper".

It is necessary to upload a file with the text of the article (without the title, information about the authors, abstracts, keywords, and bibliography) in DOCX format to the field "Main text of the article".

The requirements for the text formation are the following:

  • line spacing - 1.5;
  • font size - 14;
  • endnotes;
  • a footnote in the text should have the form [1, p. 5];
  • paragraphs are separated from each other by a blank line.

The volume of accepted original articles, including metadata (Abstract, Keywords, Literature, etc.) is 30-40 thousand characters (with spaces), reviews of scientific events and reviews - 10-20 thousand characters (with spaces).

After uploading the text of the article, you need to confirm your consent in the field "I confirm that I agree to the processing of my personal data and agree with the Journal policy".

By clicking on the "Next" button in the "Preview" section you can see how the article looks online and, if necessary, make corrections to it.

Next, in the "Metadata" section, you need to enter all the necessary information about the article in the appropriate fields in Russian and English:

  • "Title of the article";
  • "Type of publication" (choose from the following: scientific article, review, abstract, review);
  • "Abstract" (200-250 words).

The abstract should reflect the main content of the article, be structured: coverage of the problem, materials and methods of research, results, discussion;

  • "Key words" (10 words or phrases);
  • "Funding source" (if any, indicate the name and number of the grant).

Please note that fields marked with an asterisk are required for both Russian and English languages. If you wish, you can leave a brief comment in the "Comments for the editor" field at the bottom of the page.

By clicking on the "Next" button, in the "Authors" section you should fill in the information about the author of the article in Russian and English ("Title", "Affiliation", "Address").

If the authorship of the article belongs to several researchers, only one of them should upload the article, indicating the others as co-authors in the corresponding field "Co-authors". The co-authors must also be registered on the journal's website.

Then in the "Bibliography" section the bibliographical notes about the sources used in the article should be entered.

The bibliographical list is made in alphabetical order, includes a full description of the source (article from the journal, conference report, book chapter), indicating the first and last pages of the publication. If the article has DOI, it is necessary to indicate it after the description of the source.

The bibliographic description of the sources in the list is made according to the national standards (ГОСТ Р 7.0.100–2018, ГОСТ Р 7.0.5–2008). Reduction of words and phrases in the bibliographic description of sources is made in accordance with ГОСТ Р 7.0.12-2011 and ГОСТ 7.11-2004.

List of sources can be downloaded in TXT, Bibtex or EndNote XML format. To do this, each source in the file must be placed on a separate line. The list of sources in TXT (Bibtex or EndNote XML) file can be either numbered or unnumbered.

It is also possible to manually place each bibliographic record in a separate field on the journal site. To add a new record, you need to click "+" to the right of the line in the Bibliography list in the Bibliography section. Entry of a separate bibliography list in Russian and English is supported.

To transliterate the list of sources into English, you can use automatic transliteration (button to the left of the "Bibliography (English)" field).

After entering all the data, go to the "Verification" section to review and confirm the application.

Please check again if all the entries are correct, and if everything is correct, click on the "Save and Submit" button. The article will be sent to the editorial board immediately after you press the button (the status of the article will change to "Under consideration"). Also, the author can save the data after each edit an unlimited number of times (button "Save Draft") until it is sent to the editor.

Materials published earlier or proposed to several journals will not be accepted for consideration. Submitted materials should be relevant, have novelty, contain the task and describe the results of the study, comply with current legislation and have a conclusion.

Articles of postgraduate students and applicants for the degree of candidate, doctor of sciences are additionally signed by the supervisor / advisor and are accompanied by the report on the check of the article in the system Antiplagiat, confirming the percentage of originality of not less than 80%. Articles of other authors are accompanied by a report on checking the article in the system Antiplagiat, confirming the percentage of originality of not less than 80%.

When sending the article it is necessary to accept the license agreement - a public offer by signing and sending a scan of the application according to the form, which is set out in the appendix to the license agreement.
